Deer hunting takes place on our 39,000 contiguous acres that is surrounded on all four sides by the Rosebud Indian Reservation. Mule deer and Whitetail deer are both abundant on the ranch. The area is not known for Boone and Crockett records, but we do get sizeable heavy horned antlers, they are smarter however, and you have to hunt longer and harder for them. The permits are available from either the South Dakota Game Commission or from the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. It is not uncommon to see herds of 20 deer at a time as this area is thick with deer. We only allow four hunters per season and you must apply early to get a permit. Give Bill a call at 605-378-1538 for details. The hunts are fully guided on private land, and is definitely not any thing like a public land hunt. If you want a nice relaxed deer hunt that does not require rugged mountain hikes and a darn near 100% chance of getting a deer this may be the hunt for you.
